I made the scale logarithmic on purpose — to me a successful A/B experiment is about x100 more confidence-inspiring than a good pitch deck or thematic support. In a non-logarithmic scale the less meaningful things on the right will add up quickly and give us false confidence (3 out 10 — good enough — ship it!).

I’ve looked, but I haven’t found other examples of such scales, so these are based on my own experience — nothing scientific about themi. I encourage teams and individual to test the scale and modify it to fit their particular product/technology. Also ICE scores are meaningless on their own. The whole point of the exercise is to compare ideas, and for that using the same scale (even if not perfect) is the key thing.
